You can root for who you want It don't mean shit to me You don't care what your ears hear As long as it's labeled indie On the tip of every record before it's released When it finally does hit the streets You're cringing for their next piece Maybe if I cared I could form an opinion Maybe if I cared I could form an opinion SubPop Singles Club Amrep Sevens there's a lot of good shit on there But if it's not endorsed by your favorite star You don't even care If Thurston Moore sez it's great Then it's out the door like hot cakes But if Garth Brooks sez it's cool You would pass them off for fakes Maybe if I cared I could form an opinion Maybe if I cared I could form an opinion

I can sit counting, counting every minute, Life slowly unravels, Supernatural torture, Knowing you were leaving I savored the unweaving, If you really stay in touch it'll be a first, She said "Sit down, be calm, be cool, Don't let your thinking get the best of you", If what I say is true then I'm terrified of what she might do, You can take off all your clothes if you don't care who knows, Your contempt for any modesty is special for me, Go out of your way to ruin every day, I don't care what you wear, But you seem to think that I want to, She said "Don't be possessive with me, And then you can own all of me", I'm tangled and mangled by her callous charm, All I know is that I don't want to go home

about

GR56. Released towards the end of the run, 1998 I believe.
The original 7" release was a stencil for each band, one on each side on card stock, and came in various colors with various color inserts, so that they all looked a little different than the one next to them. I think there were eight different color covers and six different inserts. We pressed two runs. The first was 1500 and the second was 1000. I know we did some on colored vinyl but I have no idea what the numbers were.
I'd always loved J Church and Lance was a penpal and then became a buddy, but it was O. who made doing this record possible. I think J Church and Fluf played together at least a few times and O asked me if I was into it, I said yes, and Lance was in... pretty easy. Thanks, O!

credits

released October 22, 2014

Fluf at this point was:
O: guitars, vocals
Josh: bass, backing vocals
Brad: drums, dancing, etcetera

J Church at this point was still Lance and Gardner on guitar and bass, and both singing, and I think Andee was the drummer on this record, but I cannot be sure. These might've been older recordings with Reed.
